This article explains how you, as a reportee (employee), can create, update, and manage your goals in HybridHero as part of the appraisal process.
The purpose of creating goals is to clearly define what you aim to achieve during the appraisal cycle, track your progress regularly, and provide structured evidence of your performance during self-appraisal discussions. Keeping your goals updated ensures transparency, alignment with your manager, and a fair evaluation of your contributions.
Steps to Create or Update a Goal
Log in to your HybridHero account.
Go to the Appraisal section.
-
Select the relevant appraisal cycle.
Ensure the view is set to My/User Performance.
Navigate to the Goal section.
-
Click Add (+) Goal to create a new goal or select an existing goal to update it.
-
Enter or update:
Goal Title (A short and clear name of your goal)
Objective (this will be the objectives which were set in your appraisal)
Target Date (The planned completion date of the goal)
Revised Target Date (if applicable - you can update this field with a new expected completion date)
Achieved Date (The actual date when the goal is completed)
Status (Achieved, On Track, Not on Track, At Risk)
Add a description to provide additional context (optional).
Use the comments section to explain progress, challenges, or achievements (optional but recommended).
-
Click Save to submit your goal.
Goal Status Options
Each goal must be updated with a status to reflect its current progress:
Achieved – The goal has been successfully completed.
On Track – Progress is as planned and expected to be completed on time.
Not On Track – The goal is delayed or facing challenges.
At Risk – Significant risks or blockers may prevent completion.
Updating the status regularly ensures accurate tracking and better appraisal discussions.
