Password security is a key part of protecting your company’s data. One simple yet powerful way to strengthen it is by requiring special characters symbols like @, #, $, or ! in user passwords. These make passwords harder to guess and reduce the chances of unauthorized access.

With HybridHero, you have the flexibility to decide whether or not this requirement is enabled. That means you can tailor password rules based on your organization's internal policies and security standards.

Please note that only users with Admin permissions will be able to access and change this settings.

What This Setting Does

Depending on your company’s preferences, you can choose to:

• Enable special characters to enforce stronger passwords
• Disable special characters if your policy allows more simplified credentials

This setting directly affects how users create new passwords and helps ensure consistency across your user base.

How to Manage This Setting

Follow these steps to update the password requirements:

1. Login to your HybridHero account
2. From the dashboard, click the Company Settings tab
3. Select General Settings
4. Navigate to Password Management
5. Find the option labeled “Require special characters”

6.Choose Yes to require special characters or No to allow passwords without them

7. Click Save to apply your changes
