In this article, you’ll learn how to create and manage performance appraisals in HybridHero.
As a Manager or HR admin, you can define the structure of your company's performance reviews by adding categories and setting individual scores for each.
Managers and HR admins can configure performance appraisals for the entire organization. Below are the steps to create an appraisal and define its scoring categories.
Creating and Editing an Appraisal
- Log in to your HybridHero account.
- From the left-hand navigation menu, go to Company settings > People settings.
- Select the Performance management tab. Here you will see a list of all existing performance appraisals.
- Click on "+" Add button near All Performance appraisals to add a new Appraisal title.
- From the right side settings window, click on Active to make the new Appraisal active, add Title. Frequency of this Appraisal to be done and start date and click on save.
Now the new appraisal will be added to the list of all Appraisals.
Adding and Configuring Appraisal Categories
Once you have created an Appraisal Title, you can add or edit categories to complete the Appraisal process.
- Select the appraisal you wish to configure. You will see a list of categories currently assigned to it.
- Click the + icon to add a new category.
- The Category panel will appear on the right side of the screen.
- Fill in the following details for the category:
- Category: Enter a name for the performance metric (e.g., Punctuality, Communication, Teamwork).
- Maximum rating: Set the highest possible score for this specific category. The maximum value can be customized as needed.
- Description: Add a brief explanation or specific details about what this category measures.
- Active: Use the toggle to include this category in the appraisal. Inactive categories will not be included in the total score calculation.
- Click Save to add the category to the appraisal.
Now the changes and additions made here will be applied to the Appraisals from the People tab. Hope this information was helpful to add and define your employee Appraisal process.
