What is a Leave Profile?
A Leave Profile is that contains a list of leave types.
For example: UK Employees Leave Profile, India Employees Leave Profile, etc.
Each user can be assigned only one Leave Profile.
The Leave Profile determines which leave types are available to that user.
What is a Leave Type?
A Leave Type refers to the individual types of leave, such as:
Sick Leave
Vacation Leave
Casual Leave
Maternity Leave, etc.
Multiple Leave Types can be added under a single Leave Profile.
However, users are not assigned leave types directly, they are assigned a Leave Profile, and the leave types under that profile become available to them.
By understanding the difference between Leave Profiles and Leave Types, Admins can correctly structure leave policies and ensure employees are assigned the appropriate leave profile.
