In this article, we will understand how to automatically assign an appraisal to all newly created users.
Setting a default appraisal ensures that every new user is automatically enrolled in the appropriate performance review cycle, helping maintain consistency and saving time for Admins.
Note: Only Admins can configure this setting.
Steps to Auto-Assign Appraisals
Log in to your HybridHero account.
Navigate to People Settings under Company Settings.
Click on the Performance Management tab from the top menu.

If the appraisal has not yet been created, click on the “+” icon to create a new appraisal.

If the appraisal is already created, click on the pencil (edit) icon next to the appraisal.
A settings panel will open on the right-hand side.

Select the checkbox “Make this performance appraisal default for new users.”

Click Save at the bottom to apply the changes.
By setting a default appraisal, all newly added users will automatically have the selected appraisal assigned to them, ensuring a structured and consistent performance management process.
