In this article, we will understand how to view or edit permissions for the People tab. Managing permissions ensures that users have appropriate access to employee information. Admins can control who can view or edit specific sections, helping maintain data security and organizational structure.
Note: Only Admins can configure or modify these permissions.
Steps to View or Edit People Tab Permissions
Log in to your HybridHero account.
Navigate to People Settings under Company Settings.

Click on the Permissions tab.

Select an existing Permission Group from the dropdown or create a new one.
Note: Once a permission group is selected and assigned to a user, the configured permissions will apply to that user.

After selecting or creating a permission group, enter the following details:
Name
Description
Org Chart Access (View / Edit / No Access)
Configure Section Access: You can define what the permission group can access by selecting from the following sections:
Preferences
Work
Leave
Personal
Benefits
Asset
Performance Management
Once a section is selected, choose the appropriate access level:
🔒 Lock icon – No Access
👁 Eye icon – View Access
✏️ Pencil icon – Edit Access
Click Save at the bottom to apply the changes.
By setting up permission groups in the People tab, Admins can ensure the right level of access is granted to users while maintaining data privacy and control across the organization.
