Assigning the correct location manager role helps maintain proper access control and prevents unintended changes across locations. Understanding the difference between Parent and Child Location Managers ensures that responsibilities are clearly defined and locations are managed securely and efficiently.
Parent Location Manager Permissions:
Can view all locations under the assigned parent location
Can edit both the parent location and all child locations under it
Can remove the parent location and any child locations that fall under it
Child Location Manager Permissions:
Can view only the assigned child location
