In this article we will understand how to generate or email QR codes as it makes it quick and easy for users to check in to assets. Generating or emailing QR codes allows admins to distribute them in advance, print them for on-site use, or integrate them with tools like the Meeting Room Panel iOS application.
Note: Only Admins, Facility Managers, and Location Managers can generate or email QR codes.
Step-by-Step Guide
Navigate to Settings: Go to Company Settings and select Location Settings.

Select Location and Floor: Choose the specific Location and Floor where the asset (Desk, Meeting room or Parking space) is located.
Bulk Generate or Email QR Codes (Optional): You can also use the bulk select option to generate or email QR codes for multiple assets at once.
Edit the Asset: Locate the asset in the list and click the Edit button next to it.

A settings panel will open on the right-hand side. Scroll down to locate the QR option.

Two options will be visible:
Generate QR Code
Selecting this will generate QR code(s) for the selected asset(s) and store them for future use. These QR codes can also be used with the Meeting Room Panel iOS application.-
Email QR Code
Selecting this will email the QR code(s) for the selected asset(s) directly to you. If QR codes have not already been generated, the system will automatically generate them, there is no need to select Generate QR Code separately.
Once generated or emailed, QR codes can be printed, shared digitally, or printed on-site to enable fast and seamless check-ins. This helps improve user experience.
