In this article, we will explain how to assign availability to external teams, By using this you can control who sees and books desks, keep sensitive or limited desks unavailable from others and while still enabling flexible sharing between specific teams.
Step-by-step: How to set availability to external teams
- Go to Company Settings and navigate to Location Settings.
- Select the desired Location and Floor where the desk is located.

Click the Edit button next to the desk.
- A settings panel will open on the right.
- Go to the Permissions tab next to the settings icon

Scroll down to Availability to external teams.

Search for the team name you want to assign the desk to and click Add.
- Click Save at the bottom.
Notes:
- If availability is set as Available, the desk will be accessible only to the team added in Availability to external teams. For others, it will show as Unavailable.
- If availability is set as Available to request, the desk will appear as yellow “Available to request” only to the external team. For others, it will show as Unavailable.
Setting availability to external teams gives you control, reduces confusion, and ensures the right people always have access to the right desks. This helps create a more organized and flexible workplace for everyone.
