Microsoft Teams Integration Overview

HybridHero integrates with Microsoft Teams to streamline your booking experience. This guide walks you through how to enable and use the Teams integration, making room bookings and meeting coordination faster and more efficient. The Teams status will automatically reflect your booking activity helping colleagues know when you’re working.

Note: Teams integration is one-way: Bookings in HybridHero update Teams status, but not vice versa.

Booking Types & How They Appear in Outlook

1. Desk Booking

• Your Teams Status: Available
• Visibility: The Status will be displayed to both you and others as shown below:

2. Client Site / In Office (without specific desk)

• Your Teams Status: Available
• Manual changes in Teams will override this temporarily (but won’t affect HybridHero)

3. Remote Booking

• Your Teams Status: Available
• Visibility: The Status will be displayed to both you and others as shown below:

4. Meeting Room Booking

• Your Teams Status: Busy
• Automatically reflects your availability for the duration of the room booking
• Visibility: The status will be displayed to both you and others as shown below:

5. Out of Office

• Your Teams Status: Out Of Office (Purple)
• Clearly indicates you're unavailable due to personal leave, holidays, or external engagements.
• Visibility: The status will be displayed to both you and others as shown below:

You can still manually update your Teams status, location, or message. However, these manual updates will not impact your HybridHero bookings.

FAQ's

1. I don’t see my bookings in Teams?

• Bookings won’t appear in Teams, but your Teams status will automatically update based on the booking type made in HybridHero

2. Can I cancel or edit bookings from Teams?

• Bookings cannot be edited or cancelled via Teams. You’ll need to log in to HybridHero to make any changes. Once updated, your Teams status will automatically reflect as per booking type.
