An administrator or facilities manager can set the availability of assets for the organization, teams, and users. Yes, workspaces can be assigned to a particular user.
To assign a desk to a particular user:
Step 1: Go to Company Settings Tab
Step 2: Click on Location settings.
Step 3: Navigate to the floor where the desk that needs to be assigned is located.
(Country>>State>>City>>Building>>Floor)
Step 4: Click on the Edit button against the desk.
Step 5: Click on the Permissions tab near the settings tab.
Step 6: Check if the desk is assigned to the same team where the user belongs. If it is not assigned, click on the search bar under Assign to teams and type the team's name and click on Add button.
Step 7: Click on the search bar under Availability to users within the team and search for the user for whom the desk should be assigned.
Step 8: Once the username appears click on the Add button.
Step 9: Go back to the top of the Permissions tab and click on Save changes.
Upon doing these steps the user will be assigned to the desk and anyone else from the team or outside the team will not be able to access the desk.
